not easy to find , napa sells them with a mount, home depo, but im sure somebody on here has a link for the good stuff, or you can go to ratfink . com :D
 
You are going to get all kinds of answers on this question. from all i have read, regular fire extinguishers will cause more damage afterwards, than the fire. they destroy plastic, electrics, and will never come clean. read up on it, but for me, the only answer for my cars is Halotron. its an electrically non-conductive "clean" extinguisher. the agent rapidly turns into a gas. Halotron is EPA- and FAA-approved, and has passed extensive testing. its safe for parts and wiring, it attacks flammable liquid fires quickly and safely, with no danger of electric shock and no messy residue to clean up.

Here is what I have for my cars. Not cheap, but I hope to never have to use.

+1 what Gil said. That's what I have in my GN. I don't know what I have in my TTA but I just have one laying on the floor behind me for car shows that require one. Don't forget you need one for the TTA reunion. It's the BPG's car show rules. It's a really good policy I think for these shows to enforce for show cars because there is always some guy with a street rod that is in progress leaking fuel!

I'm making a mount for mine as we speak. Dropping it off at powdercoat tomorrow. Is attaching to the seat studs so no holes are drilled. It's expensive though. Extinguisher alone is $300.

Thanks for that link, I think I will replace my current one. It's kinda old now and chrome would be cooler...

I think I will go with a chrome or a black one. The red color is too common for these.

Hoping nobody would steal it, may need a lock for it.
 
Lol i trust very few people but if I saw someone taking a fire extinguisher I'd probably laugh while people pulled me off... Doubt that'll be sn issue at bpg
