Confirm Location of Battery Negative Cable to Engine Block

Anyone with a untouched TTA mind checking to see where the negative cable from the battery is attached to the engine block.

If I remember correct (and the style of bolt used) it should be to the lower bolt of the turbo bracket ... so no 3 in the attached illustration ... however I could be wrong so if someone would not mind taking a look for me would be much appreciated.

Jan i think its supposed to be to the right of that j bracket, right under the front of the intake.

Robert, that's where it originally where on mine but it had been messed with and when I asked years ago I was told it's on the J bracket ... however the cable is really too long to fit well there (that's where I got it right now) hence me trying to figure this one out.

So the other location we are discussing I circled in red on this illustration; this is the threaded hole in the cylinder head.

Anyone can confirm either or?

I can't say for certain that's where it was org., but i will say its where it needs to be.

Ok I checked one of my low mile cars it is where the red circle is in your pic, not on the bracket.

Jarred, thank you so much for looking.

I did check on turbobuick.com and seems like the GN have it on the bracket and even looks like they have a stud on there to attach it too.

Given the lenght of our cable I always thought it must be a different location so thanks for confirming this ... now I have to move mine if I can get too it that is

Jan,

I can confirm the red circled hole in the illustration is indeed where the ground should be.

Thanks for taking the pics ... looks no fun trying to move mine over there; have to take a look and see what I can do ...

Appreciate you all looking at this for me.
