BUILD #

Jan Larsson would be the main one with the master vin # list, he is our historian for these cars.
He is in London and I'm sure when he sees this he will chime in.

You can also go thru Jim at PHS.

If you are in need of a build number, look no further than the Pontiac Historical Society. I gave them the VIN number on Monday and had the letter listing the build number on Wednesday.

They will even provide you with a replicated window sticker.

They did need to know the dealership it was deliver to and I had no idea so they sent me to GM's Media Services. There I had to purchase the build sheet, $50.00, which listed the dealership's name.

I'm sure some of you folks were aware of this but the build sheet lists the TTA's as GTA's.

I found all of this fascinating and my wife just made fun of me. She didn't think it was really that cool to know that my build number is 1054.

Glad you got it sorted, they are called PHS only these days after GM had them drop the Pontiac name :-)

I could have provided you with the build number (really the VIN sequence number like PHS do it) for free lol ... is your last 6 #245234 and it's a Leather/T-top correct? I got some previous owner info if you are interested.

SO you got the window sticker without the dealership details on it?

GM Media will send you a copy (from microfish) the dealer invoice, not the build sheets; those are in a safe place and will be released some time in the future along with other documents for each car.

I have yet to receive the window sticker, I needed to provide the dealership name. I didn't have that info until I had the dealer invoice, once I had that I faxed a copy to PHS this past thursday. I'm interested in seeing what $32 can buy.

You are correct about the VIN#, leather and t-tops.

Any info you have on my car would be greatly appreciated.
