Bracket

Looking for the bracket that holds the wastgate solenoid to the vc, also the hard vac line that runs from the vac. block to the pcv and map sensor, just let me know, TIA

Robert,

The bracket for the wastegate solenoid will be very hard to find; however I did measure mine some time ago to create a drawing to see if I could have a few made but turned out would just cost too much to have them laser cut (was looking at doing 20 or 50 of them).

Anyway attached is the drawing (sorry all dimensions metric) so you could just fabricate this one and paint it.

For the emission lines this one is the same as used on the Grand National so post over at turbobuick.com as well. Or you can get the reproduction lines that classic tube makes (and various GN vendors sell them); they sell the set of all 5 and they come loose (so not held together by that small tab/s) so that is another option for you.

Engine Emission Tubes (5 Pc.)

Kirban got a picture of the ones they sell:

Those hardlines are not hard to find as iv'e bought 2 that were nos BUT neither had the pcv and map lines with them, on the bracket do you happen to have a pic of one ?

Robert - looking at those lines that Jan referenced - I think the PCV and MAP lines are there. The description says that they do not include the original tabs that hold them together.

Bracket is just flat so easy to fabricate from the drawing I posted. Photo attached of mine after I had it powder coated. Also included the illustration so you can see how it mounts.

The hard lines yes they are to be found out there however the PCV valve 2 lines are more difficult as they break where the mounting tab sits from being twisted many times.

The 5 set of lines includes those 2 lines however as mentioned no tab to hold them together ... maybe if you contact Classic Tube who makes them you can buy just the 2 you need and then hard solder a tab (or is it two) holding two getter before you paint them black?

Here's the lines you are looking for ... saved the photo from when I last saw a NOS one on ebay (years ago).

Yeah that looks pretty easy, thanks

While we are on the subject of brackets, anybody know where this goes ?

That;s the EGR solenoid bracket; goes on the driver side valvecover ...
VC nut towards the firewall (so like the wastegate solenoid bracket) then the other hole is on the intake stud aligned with the VC nut.

If you need a picture or illustration let me know.

Well, i thought i had one and lo and behold i found it, too many place's to put too much stuff, anyhow i got one coming in the mail if anybody needs one...:dumb:
