Hi all,
With a cloudy day, slight misting, I took TTA #231 down to the Lake Forrest Pontiac Car Show.
I entered my car with one other 20th TTA. Mine, being a T-Top/leather, and the other TTA being a T-Top/cloth. The T-Top/cloth took first, with mine taking second.
Also there, was Jeff from Santa Rosa, Calif., with his TTA (didn't show, he could have won a trophy! Even with his car being dirty!), and Ron Kristin from Ill., without his TTA (hey Ron, you could have gotten the long distance award at least! Ha!). So, three TTAs and four owners! Not bad for a local show!
Also there, were two 1969 Trans Ams, one with the Ram Air V! Boy, it looked like a engine with Ford heads! Ram Air V's have four separate exhaust ports! The other '69 Trans Am won, with it being a Ram Air III with the automatic trans.
Along with the 20th TTAs and the '69 Trans Ams, were five (yes, five) 1999 30th anniversary Trans Ams! Three T-Tops, two convertibles! Two of them won trophies.
Lots of other GTOs and other year Trans Ams, with about a 100-120 cars in attendance!
Took some photos, but I'm not too good with posting them on the net. So, I'll try one.
Here goes!
