A 2007 911 turbo has caught my interest. Can anyone here comment on this car?

I have checked Porsche forums but I thought it'd be interesting to hear from a tta owner.

Thanks

Jarred

I think you would be happier with 2006+ Z06. The availability of parts compared to the exotics, would make it the best bang for your buck now.

Is a 2007 Porsche turbo better? Probably not than the 2006+ Z06.

Just my stupid .02

I like the looks of the c5 z06 put an ls2 gas or turbo an u have a lethal car

Glorified Volkswagon. Lol! Seriously though, very fast car, but for that much cheddar I would want something with a little more "look at me" attitude. May I suggest a Ferrari 360, or an Aston Martin Vanquish. Both in that price range and have the "sex appeal" looks that an exotic deserves. Make no mistake, that 911 turbo is way faster, as is a C6 Z06. But the others just scream exotic.

On the porsche forums there is much debate of a 911 vs Z06, or zr1. I found this 911 interesting because of the unusual color combo silver-blue exterior and orange and grey interior.

From the sounds of it my boss is wanting me to put money into the house rather than a car right now. I would not drive this car to work either as I drive the TTA everyday to work, so she doesn't think I'd drive it enough to justify the purchase price.

I am gonna have to work on her for this one....

Did that yr have the multiple sitch pitch turbo ? I seenthe turbo go out on a ne one during a test

Regardless, a Porsche is a Porsche. I like them, just can't afford the one I want. Let's just say, if up in $$$ that I was/am looking, a Nissan gtr would be in the driveway.

On a debate note, I was looking in the import and/or exotic (Porsche) market and am narrowing in on a 370Z. Fairly lightweight, rear drive, low 13 second 1/4 mile stock, high 12's with bolt ons, and for around $30k. Kinda the working man's reliable, economical Porsche if you will...

No flames please, I give Porsche all the respect they deserve and I am a fan that dreams of them, but no lottery win yet.

Megan, I mean "Your Boss" (lol) wants you to leave that awesome garage you have, to move into something else? I can't wait to see the next garage, I mean house you get, but a Porsche Turbo is always a good buy in my opinion.

Well she wants me to put money into our existing house, she wants a new deck and some decorative concrete in the front. We also have to fix some lawn area where I pulled some trees out last year with my jeep lol.

I just don't want to get a porsche and be let down at the performance if my tta is faster. I understand that a new porsche is going to drive and handle way better than a tta, so it should feel like a totally different car. They don't allow test drives and I have only one friend with a turbo prorsche and I never see him to try his car. It'd be nice to have a tta owners opinion of the car.

Ya no test drives! They say if you buy it and don't like it you can return it and they buy it back. Who's not gonna like it though?? I stiill wanna buy it, just gotta convince Maeghan.
