I want one of these. Next week I will have the money to buy one.

If anyone knows where one is for sale, I would appreciate the info.

I will do that. I thought it couldn't hurt here. Lots of firehawk people have tta's. (The only 2 3rd generation cars that are fast.) Forgive me if I have broken one of the site laws.

they made diffrent stages of early firehawks also didnt they ? some came with roll bars an everyshit

there was a competition package for an extra $10k, which had Brembo brakes, same as Ferrari F40, and racing seat (only for driver, passengers would be extra cost), and back seat delete, I think roll cage, and other items. I think most of the cars didn't end up with competition package.

Formula Firehawk

some good info

get #25 white with the 366 ci engine and R suspension package .... sorry I like white it shows off curves well ... some say white looks cheap ... I think white looks clean

I tried to buy the white one several years ago. Its a comp car and I'd say it wont b for sale anytime soon...
I've been very lucky to have seen more than half of them in person and had #13 in my garage for a year or so.
Some fun facts below
11 comp cars
3 aluminum rodeck engine cars
27 ordered 25 built
18 an 23 cancelled
21 red cars, 4 in other colors
1 TTop, 1 vert.
The comp cars got
Aluminum formula hood (even the Hawk T/A vert got it)
Brembo 4 piston caliper front brakes with a 13" front aluminum? hub rotors.
Recaro seat. Pass seat and the race belts were extra$$
Roll cage
rear seat delet.

The base hawks ran about 13.50 @ 104 in the quarter, give or take. I haven't heard of anyone running a aluminum block comp car in the quarter yet.
Thats about the same as 73 SD T/A.

I have seen the Firehawk convertible. It used to be owned by Milton Robson who also owned Jeff Bietzel's TTA convert before selling it to Rich. Very nice collection but it appears he sold most everything last year. Somewhere I have some pics of the car.

I know of a red 6 speed for sale with only 400 miles (yes 400 miles). Has been parked since late 2002 and has not been started since. The original Virginia temp plate is still on the back, the stock number sticker is still on the windshield, as is the window sticker and SLP sticker on the door window. The box of SLP accessories is still factory sealed in the box.
Owner claims it as the lowest mileage 2002 SLP Formula in existence today, and it sounds believable. Says the body does not have a single mark, stain or blem. The paint is still smooth to the touch. The interior is equally as nice. Basically a brand new car. They are asking $21k if that interests you.

Also, not to hijack your thread, but someone mentioned a convertible TTA. I have seen one in person in Long Beach, CA. How many of these were there? Could this have been an aftermarket conversion or something or was this one of the originals? I have always wondered about the history of this car since. I only had about 30 seconds to talk to the owner, so I didn't get a name or much info.

The Long Beach convertible was ordered by the dealership to be converted by ASC before sold to the public. Andre#4 on here owns it today, do a search and you will find some info and photos.

Only 2 convertibles per ASC's records (the one above and also the pilot no 3 car converted mid 1989 by ASC when owned by PAS) ... there's roumors about 3 convertibles but we have seen no proof of that and ASC's records don't show 3 but 2.

Any photos of the red Firehawk?
