17th Fbody Gathering Atlanta 24-26 May 2013

Stopped at this event this morning (FBodyGathering » Welcome!) while in Atlanta and bumped into a familiar face ... John Klaver (Florida) that many of you met @ the re-union in 2011 ... he drove up with his father in his TTA.

He's also been featured in the November 2010 issue of HPP .. the multispread article on his TTA.

Anyway pretty cool gathering with loads of f-bodies ... mostly 3rd, 4th and 5th Gens.

Good to see John as well, and he did recognize me still ... he will be joining us here on turbotransam.com when he's back home next week.

We look like twins in the photo lol .... glad I brought my t-shirt as well (thanks Jim) !

I have to say that guy is a fine example of a good ol' car guy!! He was really fun at the reunion and super cool!!

He'll be a great addition to the family here.

Yep, John is a cool car guy! I keep missing him and his TTA here in Jacksonville, he has attended some of the events here. Robert got a some minature TTA cars from John at the reunion in 2011. Surprised he hasn't joined us by now!:clap:

I remember him now. I think he was parked to my left and Robert was on the right. I saw the TTA models in his hatch area. Very nice to talk to!

John said he's now out of the stone age and got both a computer and an email address so will get on here shortly

Yeah i bugged him all day that Sat. until he sold me those model car's, at the time i still had the 79 TATA, note the date on the box...
