I think all of the "whiners" about the 210 hp forgot to look at the torque "345-lbs ft of torque at 2,000 RPM"
Hmmm... if the cars hadn't been fighting the "two ton curb weight", they might have been more fun

After hearing Jim Lyons talk about that car/motor at the T/A Nats back in 2014, I gained a whole new respect for it. There were also a bunch of other fans of the 301 on hand with plenty of stories about making a lot of power and having some fast/reliable cars. It really seems like the electronics needed had not really even reached the infancy stage at the point in time that this was being developed
