Question - Heater hose, upper

I just bought new replacement heater inlet/outlet hoses from a local O'Reilly store (had them ordered), and the upper hose is definitely a somewhat different shape than the one on the car. Replacement is a Gates 19605, and when I search other online sites, including Rock Auto, this seems to be the only one available.

Does the shape matter that much? The new one is shaped more like a hook, and the one that is currently on the car has more length to it with respect to where it 'runs' along the top between the fittings.

Can't remember for sure, but I think I replaced these years ago.....

I ordered OE radiator hoses and from Highway Stars but I didn't think to check to see if they carried heater hoses....thanks, I'll take a look.

This is the Gates hose I bought through a local parts store, just posting a link to the same hose on the Hawks page because it has the exact same hose I just bought. This shape is different than the factory hose on my car.....so I guess the question is, does the shape matter at all ?
