TTA Diecast

Take the tape off the back end and just slide the car out. Stand the box on the nose end. It's not going to de-value the car one bit by opening it up for inspection. If someone buys it later down the line for a million bucks they are going to open it anyways. :) Plus if the one end of the tape is missing and not the other end that just lets future owners of the die cast know it was opened for inspection.

considering the economy a million bucks down the line is worth about, what, $20 or so now? :D

seriously though, that goes against everything i thought i knew about packaged collectable items. though, i guess there really isnt any way of proving that something like this has never been opened.

Well the ass clowns who made these could have made it real simple for everyone and put the friggin car number on the rear plate! Or on a tag inside the box so you could see it. But because they made them with the number on the bottom and the only way in is to open it you have no choose. Now open yours and check the car number because if it's my car number after all this drama I'm gonna beat you with a rubber hose! :D

I've never posted in this forum. I have herd of the Die-cast replica that is supposed to be released, read about it on here and turbobuicks.com. I saw it on the manufacturers website a year or more ago, Greenlight or somthing like that. I can tell you one thing. I'm Good and G@d Damn ready for them to release this puppy already! I'm buying.:bounce:

FINALLY!!!!! It came today!!!!! :headbang::cheers::bounce::clap:

Greenlight makes all the TTA's, but mini muscle cars has the exclusive rights to the 24k Gold finish cars. If you ordered a 24k Gold car from anywhere else, they got it from mini muscle cars. I don't know that they'll come with an actual certificate stating it's a 24k Gold finish, but I'm sure it'll be stated somewhere...

New member here trying to help out someone with a real 89 TTA. I got 0419

I do own a real 89 TA with a 350, so I got the full set.

Hope I can help match the car with the owner.

TTA 396 is now home safe with the real TTA 396! :headbang: I never thought I'd find my car number. Pretty cool to have both. So hopefully now my TTA is worth another 10K because I have the matching die cast! :drool:

I sold most of my extras that were over 1550. I was surprised how many people on tbs.com bought them up! I'm still going to keep the car numbers I have that I posted in the other thread in case someone is still looking for it. I'm glad I was able to ship 3 car numbers I had to people who had that TTA.

I've heard they WILL produce a hardtop version TTA, but it WILL NOT have the INDY 500 pace car decals on it......Stay tuned.....

Update to confirm what I stated above 4 weeks ago.....they are now taking pre-orders on this car........and none will be #'d above 1550, because they're only making 1550.....:thumbup:

New plan here....These won't be a hardtop "this time around", but they are only making 1550 no decal TTA's....Due out in March 09...will continue update as I get more info...

Well, I got number 1022, which appears to have been owned (still?) by Turbo Trans Am Forum

User hasn't been on this forum for over 5 years.

Anyone know about car #1022? I was wanting to modify the diecast for my white 1988 Trans AM T-Top. This is the second diecast TTA that I've gotten below 15xx.
